In this world of Instant - I am not an instant photographer
I know crazy right!? What I mean by this is that QUALITY TAKES TIME! Yes, in today's world, you can get just about anything instantaneously but my philosophy has always been that anything worth doing is worth doing right - NOT just super fast! I take my time, do it right, and do more than you would expect or more than most photographers would normally do so that you are WOW'ed by your images rather than sort of impressed. So, no, I do not do same day editing but I always get them back to you in reasonable time and ready for you to enjoy!
Engagement Sessions
Congrats! You're Engaged! These sessions are a great way to get to know each other and get some fabulous custom portraits in the process. Then the images can then be used for your Save-the-Dates, wedding website, etc.
These sessions start at $895 and can be done as part of a wedding package or on their own.
Bridal Sessions
The original bridal portrait is a tradition from Europe. Mostly well-to-do and royal families would have an oil portrait done of the bride to hang in their home to commemorate her wedding day. It was looked at as the bride leaving her family to start her new one with her new husband. The tradition came to the US through the south and today is a great way to get dressed up before your wedding day and have a beautiful portrait made. Obviously the process is much more interesting than standing for an oil painting. It's a great way to do a trial run on your hair and makeup to see how your final look will be! Today's bridal portraits are typically displayed at the wedding reception as a canvas or framed print.

Micro Weddings

Full Day Weddings
Intimate, small weddings are the best! If your wedding is small, within 1-3 hours, and on any day EXCEPT Saturday then these are perfect for you! Click the link below to see our hourly collections for micro weddings.

Most full day weddings, from start to finish, are 6 to 8 hours. This would include any pre-wedding photography (getting ready) to the end of the reception. Customization of a collection is available. How many hours of photography will I need on my wedding day?
Will I receive the digital files with my collection?
It all depends on how long you need us there. Most full day weddings (from getting ready to end of the night) are between 6 & 8 hours. To calculate, add 2 to 3 hours BEFORE your ceremony then to the end of the reception. Give us a call and we can help you calculate what you might need. We calculate by the hour so you pay for exactly what you need this allows our clients to use their budget as efficiently as possible.
Yes!! The digital files are included with EVERY collection built for our clients. In todays digital world we look at the digital files as proof prints that photographers used to give their clients years ago. They are your images and we want you to have them forever.

Do you charge for travel?
Who will our photographer be if we book with Gillian Claire?
Yes and no. If you are within the travel area of Charleston, Columbia, Florence, Wilmington, and Myrtle Beach then NO we do not charge for travel. Travel costs overseas or out of state are charged at cost and nothing more. We do not make money off of travel. We do not feel the need to nickel and dime our clients.
Gillian will ALWAYS be your photographer. Gillian Claire photography is a boutique studio so you will work with Gillian throughout the process and on your wedding day.
